FRACTIONAL HR

Experienced HR support without adding a full-time HR role.

I provide practical, experienced HR support across a wide range of HR needs, whether an organization needs ongoing fractional support or focused help with a particular project or challenge.

For very small organizations, that may mean ongoing fractional support across day-to-day HR needs. For organizations of any size, project work may include employee relations, leave and accommodations, investigations, policies and processes, compliance, or strengthening the HR function itself. I have built HR departments from the ground up and have also stepped into existing functions that needed to be untangled, corrected, and rebuilt to work more effectively.

Where I can help

  • General HR Management/Administration

  • Leave, accommodations, and return-to-work

  • Employee relations and workplace concerns

  • Investigations

  • Policies, practices, and HR compliance

  • Benefits and related HR administration

  • HR audits, projects and process improvement

  • Manager guidance and difficult employee situations

Who I work with

Ongoing fractional support is best suited to smaller California organizations, generally with fewer than 50 employees, that need experienced HR support but do not need a full-time HR professional.

Project-based support can work well for organizations ranging from very small employers to organizations of several thousand employees that need focused expertise for a particular project, challenge, or period of time. Depending on the nature of the work, project support may be provided to organizations in any U.S. state or territory.

In-person and remote support

Remote-first support, with onsite availability when it matters

Most fractional HR support is designed to be provided remotely, giving smaller California organizations experienced HR help without requiring a full-time onsite HR presence.

I’m based in California’s Central Valley. Ongoing fractional relationships are primarily remote, with in-person support available in the region when a situation or project genuinely benefits from being onsite.

Project-based support may be provided remotely to organizations in any U.S. state or territory. For selected projects that require onsite work, travel can also be discussed as part of the engagement.
